In early recovery one of the things I used to tell my family and team was that I was exhausted- and this wasn't just physical! Recovery takes up a LOT of time and energy, both literally and not so literally. When I wasn't at appointments or tackling fear foods, I was often reflecting on my disorder or thinking about the next steps. Recovery burnout is REAL and it does NOT mean you're any less dedicated or deserving of recovery 🧡
